Each semester Upf arranges trips, to different destinations. There are organized by our head of travel along with their project group or committee. We have been all over the world, from the places listed below to Kiev/Tjernobyl, Istanbul, Amman and many more!

Traveling with Upf Umeå!
Dublin
Fall semester of 2022’s trip went to Dublin, Ireland! Joined by 16 members. The main theme of this trip was to explore the North Ireland conflict. Most days were spent in the Irish capital, except one which was dedicated to traveling to, and exploring the city of Belfast.
Berlin
For the first time in over two years it was finally possible to go abroad, so the first trip after the pandemic was headed to the city of the cities, Berlin! The trip was spent visiting the Swedish Embassy, different WWII monuments and museums.
Kiruna
Kiruna was the destination for fall semester 2021’s trip. The northernmost city in all of Sweden with destinations such as Ice Hotel, LKAB and Sametinget, which were all visited by the members joining. This way it was possible to explore Kiruna’s industrial history and treatment of Swedish minorities.
