Programme Committee
The main concern of the Programme Committee is to plan and organise the upcoming lectures and, thus, the backbone of UPF’s work. Furthermore, our Head of Programme actively encourages you, as a Committee member, to arrange your own lectures and take greater responsibility for UpF’s “core” work. Debates, seminars, and panel discussions are great examples of what your work might entail.

Activities Committee
Our Activities Committee arranges social events and more informal meetings – a chill barbecue or Politik & Pilsner – for discussing political issues. You can be part of arranging everything from a social gathering in the evening, field-trips to local organizations, documentary nights, seminars and/or workshops. It is a good way to meet new people and expand your social network.

Travel Committee
Every semester, UPF Umeå arranges a trip for its members to a country with a lively political and cultural social life. In the Travel Committee, you will have the chance to decide on where to go and why, what field-trips to make, and what organisations, embassies or companies to visit. You will be part of planning the trip and arranging activities and meetings for our members before departure.

Editorial Committee
This is the committee which is actively working on our magazine UTPOST, which is published every term. You can write articles by yourself and/or help in designing the magazines outline. If you are a student, it is a great achievement to be published in this magazine read by all of our members and the public.

PR Committee
Our PR Committee works with our Heads of PR to design posters, flyers, posts, and other materials to promote UPF in general and our events throughout the term.
