LSU has now announced the opportunity to become youth representative of Sweden in the EU. LSU is looking for two representatives to represent LSU and the young people of Sweden in Röstresan genom EU that is the only structured process in the EU that gives young people the opportunity to influence EU policies. The mandate is between 1 of July 2017 until the 31 of December 2018. Deadline for application and nomination is the 15th of March, at. 23.59. To be an EU-representative means that you represent LSU and young people of Sweden on platforms where EU youth policies are discussed.EU representatives participate in meetings and conferences both in Sweden and in other European countries (at least three EU youth conferences in three countries). They also coordinate local ambassadors and write reports describing young people’s views on current political issues. They have a very important role and are given great responsibility. SAIA, as a member organisation of LSU can nominate one person to become one of the two youth representatives of Sweden in the EU. The process is that SAIA are going to have an open call for members of SAIA to apply to. If you are interested, fill in the attached application form (Ansökningsformulär) which is the same as the one that has to be sent to LSU, and also write a cover letter (maximum one page). The both documents should be sent to the presidium of SAIA (firstname.lastname@example.org).
