The second Whole Earth?-event is soon upon us and this time the theme is “Climate change and global health”. We at Umeå In Whole Earth? are proud to present two researchers from Umeå University for this lecture. These two have been working with the latest report of the UN:s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group II which covers impacts, vulnerability and adaptation in relation to climate change.
Joacim Rocklöv, one of these scientists, is head of the group working with climate change and health at the Institution of Epidemiology and Global Health at Umeå University.
Maria Nilsson is another scientist in this group and is also part of the ongoing Lancet Commission on climate change and health.
The event will take place on the 30th of March. Updates about location and time will be seen on this page. We are very exicted about this event and we hope to see you all on the 30th!
